Club Rules (Sarıyer)
Dear Members,
Our guide has been prepared for the comfort of all our members, taking into account international practices and general hygiene rules. The Guest Relations department and unit managers will be happy to assist you with your questions, comments and suggestions on any subject. We hope you will help us in our goal of providing you with a unique service by sharing your opinions with us.
GENERAL RULES
- This guide is an annex to the Membership Agreement and is an integral part of it. The Purple Guide covers the rules to be applied at the facility. Our members are obliged to use the facility within the framework of these rules and the rules and warnings posted in the units. Members must comply with the warnings of the officials. Behaviors that violate these rules are considered as violations of the contract. Coliseum has the right to cancel the membership of those who do not comply with the rules and warnings without refund.
- Coliseum has the right to change, remove or add new rules to one or more of the membership rules when necessary.
- Coliseum, weekdays 07:00 – 22:00; It is open between 09:00 – 18:00 on weekends. Our members can leave the units at 21:45 on weekdays and at 17:45 on weekends; They must leave the facility by closing time at the latest. For this purpose, members can be warned by the announcement system or staff. If necessary, the opening and closing hours of the facility may be changed by Coliseum.
- Coliseum Management has the right to close all or part of the facility and change the opening and closing hours during Public and Religious holidays, special days, adverse weather conditions and special events that have been announced in advance.
- Members must use the Fitness, Changing rooms, Outdoor pool and Indoor pool areas with appropriate clothing. Exercise areas other than swimming areas cannot be entered with wet clothing (such as towels, bathrobes, slippers, swimsuits). Our members who wear inappropriate clothing are warned by the officers.
- Coliseum; Does not comply with the rules of dress, general morality and cleanliness; has the right to cancel the membership of people who behave aggressively, cause discomfort to other members and staff with their attitudes and behaviors, or endanger the safety of other members or staff.
- Different member identification systems are applied to access open or closed areas and benefit from the services there. It is mandatory to use these systems to log in. In cases where Coliseum deems it necessary, the identity card (driver’s license, passport) must be shown to the officer. Otherwise, login cannot be made.
- Pets, outside food and drink, sports equipment not approved by Coliseum, etc. are not allowed in the hut. Tools cannot be brought.
- If the club serves within a common order in which different businesses exist, the member is obliged to comply with the management, security and other rules of this order. Behaviors that violate these rules have the same meaning as behaviors that violate the Purple Guide.
- It is prohibited to promote and/or sell any product or service in the facility, regardless of purpose or form, without the written permission of Coliseum Management. No cameras, camcorders or mobile phones can be taken in the club without permission.
- Children’s use of the units is limited to their parent’s membership scope. Coliseum Management may require license, doctor and instructor approval for children to use some units in the facility.
- Members cannot take towels, loincloths, sports equipment and similar items that Coliseum makes available for use inside the club, outside the club.
- Private Fitness exercises with a personal trainer such as Swimming, Yoga, Dance, Gymnastics, Pilates, and certain paid group classes, spa areas, massage, scrub, skin care and similar services are outside the scope of membership and are subject to a separate fee and require a reservation.
- Members must comply with the Private Lesson Obligations they have signed and must complete the package programs within the specified period (duration may vary depending on the course). Otherwise, the lessons are considered completed. Purchased package services cannot be replaced with another service package, cannot be transferred and cannot be refunded.
- In case of non-payment, late or incomplete payment of the membership fee, Coliseum reserves the right to not admit the member to the facility and has the right to cancel the membership if necessary.
- In case of any problems that may occur in membership registrations, Coliseum registrations will be considered valid.
- The member’s voluntary withdrawal from membership, failure to use his membership, or failure to use the membership sections of the facility does not entitle him to a refund of the membership fee. In memberships; When the conditions determined by Coliseum are met, freezing may be made depending on the special conditions of the contract.
- Disability, illness and surgery etc. to be proven by a doctor’s report. during the illness
- In essential cases of certain duration, such as pregnancy, it starts from the date of the report and ends 1.5 months after birth (maximum 9 months).
- During military service, in cases of necessity for a certain period of time, such as military service
- Going abroad etc. In such cases, a maximum of 3 months is required with passport entry-exit information.
- Coliseum has the right to adjust all fees, including the daily use fee, according to the circumstances.
- Members cannot take lessons from any instructor other than Coliseum instructors and/or instructors given written permission by the management, and they cannot teach each other. If Coliseum detects such an incident, it reserves the right to exclude those people from membership without a refund.
- It is recommended that our members do not bring valuables with them, but in cases of necessity, they can use the safety deposit boxes located at the entrance of the club.
- Coliseum accepts no responsibility for vehicles left in the parking lot or items left in vehicles, items left in the locker rooms or forgotten anywhere.
- Members can report all their suggestions, criticisms and comments to the Guest Relations department by filling out the contact form via the mobile application or Coliseum website, or by meeting face to face.
- It is forbidden to use alcohol, cigarettes and similar substances in the club.
- It is not possible to enter the club with a weapon, even if it is licensed.
- In order to maintain the general hygiene of the club, it is mandatory to comply with the hygienic solutions offered by Coliseum (shoe covers, mats, etc.) at the entrance to the indoor sports area and in some areas of the interior sections. Coliseum staff may warn members who do not comply with this policy.
- Members must bring and use clean sports shoes for indoor sports units that they will use only in these areas.
- If a member damages any part of the club, the damage will be compensated by the member according to the minutes to be kept.
- Coliseum Management is not responsible for injuries and/or physical-material damages within the club.
- When taking videos, photos or selfies in all areas, care should be taken to respect the privacy of other members and care should be taken not to photograph others without permission.
RECEPTION RULES
- Members aged 15 and over are required to use the club’s turnstile entry system (QR mobile application).
- The receptionist may request the member to show his/her ID when necessary.
- At the beginning of membership, it is mandatory to take a member photo from the system.
- Identity information and an acceptance of risks form are collected from non-members.
- All reservations must be made through the Reception or the units directed by the Reception.
LOCKER ROOM RULES
- It is mandatory to comply with the hygiene rules specified for the cleanliness of the facility and the health and comfort of all members.
- Cups, towels and/or loincloths should be used adequately and for the purpose.
- Showers should not be occupied for long periods of time.
- Due to the psychological development of children, boys over 3 years old can enter the women’s locker room; Girls over the age of 3 cannot enter the men’s locker room. Children in this scope can use the indoor pool changing cabins and showers.
- Considering the psychological development of our children, we recommend that you wear a towel or loincloth in the locker rooms.
- Personal care cannot be done in the locker room areas (such as showers, toilets).
- The lockers in the dressing rooms are for daily use. Members must empty the lockers when leaving the facility. Coliseum is authorized to open the locked cabinets that have not been emptied at the end of the day and to empty the items inside. Items emptied from the locker or forgotten there will be kept by Coliseum for 1 month, and if not received, they will be donated to charities. Underwear, swimsuits, personal care items or sweaty items are destroyed without preservation.
- In accordance with hygiene and safety rules, all items should be placed in cabinets, no items should be left outside the cabinet and no valuables should be kept in the cabinets. Coliseum cannot be held responsible for lost items.
- To respect the privacy of other members, video calls cannot be made via mobile phones in the locker rooms.
FITNESS RULES
- Members are advised to start exercising after receiving a program from the Fitness instructor when registering for Fitness for the first time and to renew the program at regular intervals. You should not deviate from the program given by the instructor; Coliseum is not responsible in case of deviation. Our members with health problems must inform the instructor before printing the program.
- It is necessary to choose clothes and shoes suitable for the type of sports to be done in the fitness center. Our members who wear inappropriate clothing or shoes are warned by the officers.
- You cannot enter the exercise area with wet clothing (such as towels, bathrobes, slippers, swimsuits).
- Instructors only care about the person they are teaching during private lessons.
- Mobile phones should be kept on silent. Loud talking should not be done in the exercise area.
- Sports bags, coats, etc. Items should be left in the locker rooms and should not be brought to the Fitness area.
- Food and alcoholic beverages cannot be brought into the fitness area.
- For the general order of the fitness and the comfort of other members, the equipment (portable or non-portable) in the facility is used under the guidance or knowledge of the trainers. It is mandatory to put the weights and equipment used in their places after use.
- Tools should not be used for a long time, considering that other members are also using them.
GROUP COURSE STUDIO RULES
- If he/she has any illnesses before attending group classes, he/she must get approval from his/her doctor and inform his/her instructor before starting the class.
- You must come to classes on time. You cannot enter the class 15 minutes after the class starts.
- It is forbidden to chat with your friend next to you or talk on the phone during class. Turn your mobile phone off or put it on silent during classes.
- Listen carefully to the instructors’ explanations about the courses. During the lesson, stand in a place where you can see the instructor clearly and not through the mirror.
- Be careful to use correct technique to avoid injuries and get maximum benefit. If you are not sure that you are doing the techniques shown in the lessons correctly, ask your instructor for help.
- Do not bring equipment other than water and towels to group lessons.
- It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early for classes where the number of equipment is limited. Course participants cannot reserve seats for other participants other than themselves.
- Put the materials you used during the lesson back to their places.
- Eat at least 3 hours before classes.
- It is recommended that you keep a water bottle with you during classes and drink a tea glass of water every 10 minutes.
- Wear appropriate clothing and sneakers for classes.
- Coliseum has the right to remove the relevant course from the program or make changes to the course program without prior notice.
CYCLING STUDIO RULES
- Those who attend the first lesson on two consecutive days of the same class can attend the second lesson if there is an empty space left.
- You cannot enter the hall during the first lesson and leave towels, etc. on the empty bicycles to reserve space for the second lesson. After the first lesson is over, you can place towels, etc. on the bike you want just to determine your own place. You can leave it. It is forbidden to reserve a bicycle for someone else.
- Towels, glasses, etc. cannot be left on the bikes or in the studio after the first lesson.
- After the first lesson, it is mandatory to leave the studio so that the cleaning team can work comfortably and second lesson participants are given priority.
- Reservations for reserved courses are made via Coliseum App. If a person arrives 10 minutes late to class even though a reservation has been made, their reservation will be deemed cancelled. If he cannot come, he must cancel the reservation. Information about the reservation time and content should be obtained from the reception.
- It is important for your health to take courses appropriate to your level. The instructor has the right to warn participants who are not at the appropriate level for health reasons.
- It is necessary to use a water bottle to avoid spilling water on the bikes and the environment.
- Start the lesson after adjusting the bicycles you use for your health according to your own body size. If you need support with the settings, you can get help from your instructor 10 minutes before the lesson.
- Be careful to use correct technique to avoid injuries and get maximum benefit. If you are not sure that your usage technique is correct, you can get help from your instructor.
- For your health, carry clothing suitable for cycling (cycling tights, cycling shoes and cycling t-shirts, etc.).
- You cannot enter the class 10 minutes after the class starts.
- It is forbidden to chat with your friend next to you or talk on the phone during class.
CHILDREN’S FITNESS USE RULES
- Children aged 15 and over can use it within the framework of the program given by fitness instructors.
- Children under the age of 15 cannot use fitness areas except for sports schools, designated group classes and training with a private instructor.
INDOOR POOL RULES
- Non-swimmers and children under the age of 5 cannot use the pool.
- Ambient and water temperature are determined according to international standards.
- Before using the pool, it is mandatory to take a shower and wear a swim cap and appropriate clothing.
- It is recommended to get information from the staff about the correct use of swimming apparatus. Coliseum cannot be held responsible for any damages arising from incorrect use.
- Except for the staff, those without pool clothing (shorts, swimsuit, bikini, slippers) cannot enter the pool area.
- The diving pool cannot be used and diving equipment cannot be brought from outside.
- It is mandatory to use the disinfectant pool at the entrance to the pool area to ensure full hygiene and clean the feet.
- More than one person can swim in one lane in the pool. Lane 1 is reserved for children over the age of 5 and their families.
- It is forbidden to enter the pool with a mask.
- Those with open wounds, bandages, cuts or skin diseases cannot use the pool.
- Coliseum reserves the right to organize competitions (special activities) in its pools, to organize summer and winter sports schools, and to close and rent lanes during private lessons.
- Coliseum Management cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur in and around the pool.
- Members must avoid all behaviors that may cause discomfort and dangerous situations in the pool area (keeping glassware, jumping into the pool, splashing water, making noise, polluting the surroundings, throwing balls around, etc.).
- Changing cabins are for dressing and undressing purposes, leaving items is prohibited. Members must leave their belongings in the lockers in the locker rooms or in the relevant shelving compartments in the indoor pool shower areas.
RULES FOR CHILDREN’S USE OF THE INDOOR POOL AREA
- Children under the age of 15 cannot use the pool area alone without a parent who is a member.
- Children under the age of 5 cannot use the pool, even if they know how to swim. They can only use the part of the private swimming lesson pool directed by the instructors.
- Lane 1 is reserved for children over the age of 5 to use with their families. Children over the age of 5 who can swim can also use other lanes for performance purposes.
- The indoor pool attendant has the authority to remove children from the pool if he deems necessary.
OPEN SPORTS FIELDS RULES
- It is necessary to be a member in order to use open sports areas (tartan walking track, aquapark and open area exercise area). Members must show their identity information to officers when necessary.
- Skateboards, skates, bicycles and similar equipment cannot be brought into any of the outdoor sports areas, pets cannot be allowed and smoking is not allowed in these areas.
- No behavior that will disturb the environment can be allowed in open sports areas.
- The care and safety of children in outdoor sports areas is the responsibility of their families.
- Coliseum is not responsible for forgotten items.
- Members must do their exercises with appropriate shoes and clothing. Our members who wear inappropriate shoes and clothes are warned by the officers.
OUTDOOR POOL RULES
- Coliseum Management determines the opening and closing dates and times of the pool. reserves the right to change the time and day change.
- There is no towel service. Our members can bring their own towels or purchase them from the outdoor pool reception.
- Members must use the application in the turnstile entry system (QR mobile application). It is mandatory to show an ID card when deemed necessary by the pool attendant.
- You cannot enter the pool without taking a shower.
- You must enter the pool with appropriate clothing (swimsuit, bikini, shorts). It is dangerous and prohibited to enter with a mask and snorkel.
- Members must avoid all behaviors that may cause discomfort and dangerous situations in the pool area (keeping glassware, jumping into the pool, splashing water, making noise, polluting the surroundings, etc.).
- It is recommended to get information from the staff about the correct use of pools. Coliseum cannot be held responsible for any damages arising from incorrect use.
- Use should be made taking into account the pool depths.
- People with open wounds and skin diseases cannot use the pool.
- Coliseum Management cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur in and around the pool.
- In order for all our members to benefit, it is mandatory to use a maximum of one sun lounger per person. It is forbidden to reserve and change sun loungers.
- Bringing food and drinks from outside is prohibited.
- Members are required to comply with the rules written in the units and the warnings of the officers.
- Coliseum Management closes the pool for special events; Has the authority to change the opening and closing hours.
CHILDREN’S AQUAPARK USE RULES
- Children under the age of 15 cannot use the pool area without a parent who is a member.
